Used my Garmin GPS to clock the speed of my 95 Medalist 36 volt. It topped out at 24 mph. Fast enough for me.

I installed a D&D motor (170-502-001) and upgraded 2 gauge cables. 2003 Ezgo PDS golf cart. 15 MPH top speed.

I’ve got a Navitas and a heavy duty solenoid on my RXV so today I made and put in 2-0 (“double-ought”) battery cables.
They’re ridiculous overkill… which should be just right.

Actually recently did a lot of additions to my old marathon. Installed new HD springs in the rear, removed one of the springs, modified a rear seat MODZ txt Kit to fit my Marathon, new HD springs in the front, 2 inch wheel spacers, new top, new mirrors, and new LED lights. Last year it was restored with a Navitas AC 5kw system, lithium battery, ecoxgear sound bar, and new front seats. Now I need to figure out what I want to change to make either the front seats match the back or the back seats match the front, or something completely different to both sides. Will be installing new bearings on the rear diff for both sides this weekend along with swapping out the front springs for som TXT front springs as well. Still trying to decide if I want to keep the small rims or just bite the bullet and upgrade to 23 inch tires on 14 inch rims. Current have 22 inch tires on 8 inch rims. My only hesitation is that I use this to hunt and am concerned about less side wall making the ride much stiffer, although not sure if it will be as noticeable as I am thinking it will be.

Not exactly today but within the last 2 weeks. I've added decals highlighting the EZGO logo on the rocker panels on my 2016 (?) TXT 48. I've also added an led under glow kit to it.

I made a 5 degree wedge out of marine grade starboard and added that to the front end between the straight axle and the springs to increase the caster and make this thing steer better.

Here's a lesson in "What NOT to do".....

I swap my winter\mudder\hunting tires out in the spring and fall and put some smoother riding one's on for the summer.

So, to make this short work (and for other stuff) I purchased a Dewalt 20V 1/4" impact driver to do the job. https://www.acehardware.com/departme...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

Now, I've always used the impact driver on the rear tires and when I do, I just let the impact driver on until the wheel bolt quit turning......but...and this is the "don't do" part....I was doing some maintenance on the front end and when I tightened up the front lugs with the impact driver I did the same.....hold impact driver until lug quit turning. REALLY BAD THING.

I cracked one of the wheel hub's doing this. Of course...then I started the research on ft\lb if torque needed vs ft\lb of torque the driver provided.

The "needed" torque is 50 ft\lbs. The impact driver provides 110 ft\lbs. Hence the broken aluminum front hub.

Don't do this. I now get the lugs jut "tight"....and then STOP with the impact driver.

I thought I'd share my $65 mistake.
