It does look like you could just use the spindles to adapt them to the Yamaha fairly easily

In case anybody is still reading this thread...

I checked into buying all the rotors, calipers, M/C, hose, washers, bolts, etc from a CC dealer for a CC XRT 1500, which has 4 wheel disk brakes. The cost was over $1100. That did not include the hard lines to connect everything nor the mounting brackets for anything and the rotors are of flat design which would require 2" wheel spacers min.

For what I was looking for this was way out of reason for my projects.

I also looked into the kits that were posted on ebay by a calif company. $1099 and you have to send them your old front spindels ( I tlaked to them directly) I asked how much if I did my own fab work on the front spindels and they knocked off a whopping $100. I do like their bonnett type of rotors.

I also looked into BU "front brake convirsion kit" Their rotors are flat requiring 2" spacers and according to BU a 6" lift as well.

So any info on using ANYTHING else for getting four wheel disk brake on buggies....I am all ears!

Some of you may have checked this guy out but he does have a 4 wheel set up for an EZGO for a little over $700.00. You do have to send him your front spindles so he can weld the mounting brackets on. He used a jig set up so the bracket is lined up just right. He does not charge anything extra for the mounting of the brackets, you would just have to pay for shipping. Here is the link to his site.

Hi Jim.
I wrote Mr. Mike at SanClemente and he positively assures their price is NOT under 750.
Then as I am a dealer and could order a few, I was asking for dealer price.
Same price for dealers he said.
You can send your spindles or (in my case) he said he can give directions on how to weld them right.
Anyway I think is a good price for a 4 wheel disc brakes system.
They also advertise at GolfCarAdvisor issues.

sweet!!

Now seat belts are REQUIRED!!!

Regarding the first post of this thread announcing the ebay item, I was checking the ebay user products and it seems likely all of his prices are high.
He's selling 2002 aged batteries for some 440us... sic!
