I really only have one question so far, Can I leave it plugged in/charging all the time? I have purchased DI water and a battery filler. I already adjusted the head lights still a little high, gonna take it apart and shim the headlight buckets to angle them down.

Nice cart! I got the same thing in August and leave mine plugged in all the time- no issues so far.

Can anyone confirm height or even better post a pic showing height being measured? Thanks in advance!
I just tried to measure mine, but I can't figure with enough confidence if it's 81" or 81.5", but I would say if you replaced the knobby tires with low-profile street tires that might save you a bit.

I agree with ZMoore though that you should first check your garage door. The manual should tell you how to adjust the stop height. I just had a new garage door put in and while the guy was here, I said "hold up I need to make sure my cart fits" and it did not. He just pushed a few buttons and cranked the max open mode even higher and I was set.

Can you set your garage door to slide back higher giving you a little more room? Some other people have mentioned deflating tires but I haven't tried this route.
Thanks for the reply but not sure I follow your description. 6.5’ as listed in the spec sheet is 78 inches, but you are saying the dealer can lower to 81.5” 🤔. I assume you mean the reverse of that and the dealer can lower to 78” to match the spec sheet?

Thanks ATrain. The garage door can be adjusted a little so it is higher than the opening of the door based on retracting further, but it is actually the opening of the door frame that has me concerned, to the interference from the door. I guess I’ll call an Icon dealer tomorrow to clarify. One other question, how much success have you heard of haggling on price. I have seen posted prices on new I40ls vary almost 2k. 9,300 is the lowest I have seen and another dealer at 9,500. Just curious.

I've bought 3 of them and sent the dealer a bunch of recommendations so my story isn't the same as everyone else's. I think I got my '21 lifted I40L with 8 sealed AGM batteries for $11k flat if that helps.

The I40L is closer to 81.5 tall had the same issue with the garage door. I removed the travel stop on the opener and adjusted the opening height. It fits, but it's tight.
I paid 10k for mine at Ace of Carts in Daytona FL.

I believe ICON recommended retail on the i40L is $9,450. A lot of dealers are selling over rec retail though. If you can get any lower than that then your doing well. I wonder if an out of state dealer will sell to you w/o sales tax? Not sure where your from or how your local licensing for carts applies.
