Default Navitas Swap on a 1990 Yamaha G8?

Hello everyone. Looking into doing a Navitas swap on my 1990 G8 and wanted to put out there what Im thinking about doing and wanted to see if anyone has any advice in case I am going down the wrong road.

Currently running a 48v DIY lithium pack with the eBay Curtis 1205 controller. I do not trust the controller as it will randomly not work when I come to a complete stop and try to go again. Turning off the key and turning it back on fixes it right away.

So I am now wanting to ditch the Curtis controller and go Navitas and build my pack up to 72V. Im not able to find the info I am seeking for this swap though and hopefully someone can help.

It looks like there is a kit for upgrade Yamaha series carts to the Navitas 440a controller and 4K motor, but I can not find anywhere that says this can handle 72V. Then there is also a kit to upgrade to AC with the 600A controller. Not sure if it is worth the extra money to do the AC swap or not, hoping someone could chime in and let me know one way or the other. I live in Florida and am on flat ground 99% of the time.

So there you go, thats my latest upgrade I am looking into. If anyone has any advice, wornings, etc. I would really appreciate them.

Thanks!

Not sure I understand... the Navitas controller can handle 72v, but it's more than strong on 48v. The conversation kit 440a controller / 4k motor is a AC system as well, a 600a isn't really necessary ( especially in Florida w/o any hills ). Top speed of the 440/600a is the same.
