Default CBR600 Ezgo build

Hi everyone I’m hoping I do this all correctly it’s my first past 😂

So I’m currently building Honda CBR600 powered EzGo cart. I’m in the Uk and the only time we really come across golf carts is on a golf course and definitely not many modifying being done

So my build is very DIY on the cheap it’s not driving and running instantly found the single rear disk I’m using isn’t up to the job.

Chain drive and a swing arm style mounted rear Clocks in the dash and a hand shifter and clutch Still plant to finish but it starts runs/drives.

As you likely figured, you have way more engine than suspension. Be safe!

Yes currently looking for 2 really stiff rear shockers and the 2 I’m currently using on the rear and too soft there only from 2x 50cc scooters.

My biggest issue is getting it to stop just lookin at putting a set of brakes on the front

Thought I best add some more information etc

So it’s a EZGO cart
Honda CBR600 1989 carb model

The rear leaf springs and axel inc frame have been binned and replaced with a full custom made swing arm style subframe that houses the engine too so no chain tension issues

Racing gocart 50mm steel axel including bearings ,sprocket carrier and break carrier all key way and bolted

One rear 2pot go cart hydro disk break “definitely not upto the job”. Found that out on our first test drive

Sprocket set up atm I couldn’t even tell you sizes just that they are from a Mates 1000cc fireblade turbo std Honda and a 520pitch

Fuel tank is an aircon tank modified also hopefully being mounted in a golf bag for the rear

Cooling system is standard CBR 600 both Water and oil just used different hose/pipework to get it all to the front. Will be adding an additional inline water pump

Shifter is a mix of custom brackets and a cars push pull cable used as a rod changes gear better than we all expected would have liked to have gone solid bar but with the rear end set up we would have been popping in and out when the suspension traveled

Thanks just a bit of fun for us rather than work and all free or very cheap as I’m tight and hate spending money 😂

Just a few more photos Some welds etc are rough but once it’s all done it’s coming back apart and all being welded by me pal who’s actually a welder 😂

That’s it at ride hight too trying to keep it as low as possible to keep the weight down low.
