I have a Chevy 12 bolt in my car with a Mark Williams spool, 35 spline Mark Williams axles and rear end tubes are welded. I had ford ends welded on so I could use big bearings. It’s fine for the power I’m making.

I had sent my side gears to my buddy to true them up in anticipation of the posi unit I was building. I got them back today and they look really good. I also received the used EZGO limited slip differential I bought. The limited slip looks to be in great shape and might just have to go with that at this point. I got an email from the company that had given me a price of $300 to EDM the splines in my spool. They made a mistake and the price they gave me was for only one piece, not both and they want $525 to do both. My only other option at this point is to turn down a set of side gears to a splined sleeve and press fit them into my spool with a key. I do not want to turn down the side gears I just had machined, so I'm looking for a set of side gears.

What year Ezgo gas do you have? I have a 93 Marathon gas and been trying to find out what the spline count is. Would you have this information?

Have you thought about just welding the diff?
That’s way free-er and easier.
