With my obvious limp the GF decided it was best to do a stay in weekend. So I broke out a lb. of lump crab meat and made a pot of crab bisque soup with the excellent mix from Halladays. I used 1/2 of the pound in there and made famous Ray's crab cakes with the other half. We had the soup for 2 lunches with some of those you bake Pillsbury rolls . The crab cakes on those rolls with some sauce for supper. I then took the remaining cakes put them over toast with a small amount of the bisque topped with an over easy egg for breakfast. Not bad for a stay in weekend using supplies on hand.
 The GF took Izzy for a marina walk one morning and a beach walk the other.  |

YEOOW 45 mph wind gusts tonite. A little tough if I have to hook up a generator if the power goes out

It was a nite of heavy winds and rain but power stayed on things weather will be easing off later in the day. Prayers sent for those poor folks in mid south. Really Bad losing your home BUT pretty bad not having power for who knows how long.
