I have a lifted 07 gas g29 and it rides super hard! Wanted to get some new rear shocks, how did those nitrogen shocks work out?
i use my cart for golfing only, besides the lift and tires, no other mods. (6 inch madjax lift and 23 inch tires, normal rims, no low profile) Front shocks are what came iwth the madjax kit, rear was stock from when i purchased it.

Any ideas on replacement shocks would be great, would i still go the extra 2" for the nitrogen shocks?

Any help and updates would be greatly appreciated.

Another option is to use the lighter "Gas cart" version for your electric cart.
Part number - JW1-F2210-10-00

Oops, this IS a gas cart question, but posted in the electric section. Forget that idea.

bj no I gave up on that idea and just went with the lift and tires. The cart rides much better now been playing with the tire pressure and got it at 18psi much better ride. Still bounces a bit on a good bump but its not the as harsh as it used to be.

Millbrook isn't the smoothest course by far. I am in the process of a complete teardown of my cart. Ordering lift and tires so we will see how it is. Thanks for the quick response

any final results on what worked the best? want to do a set on my G29, i'm taking the 6" lift off and gong back to a 3" and have 23X10.00 X14's and i am concerned about tire rub. i don’t corner fast so ride is more important.... steering towards the Nitrogen but wondering if i should just get them longer so i don’t have to add the adaptor and just use the factory mounts...

I know this is an old thread.

I am designing a clays cart. It will not be unusual to have 350-400 pounds on the rear seat.

Since I plan on using a gas cart, in addition to the HD springs, would it make sense to use the electric cart shocks since the overall weight with the back seat loaded would be closer to that of an electric cart?
