The charge light is driven by the OBC, and since the OBC is not doing anything it thinks you're driving the cart around without it being charged. Remove the OBC from the cart entirely. Ditch the charge light and install a digital voltmeter in in its place.

It looks like the new MODZ MAX48 smart charger is doing its job, even though the OBC is still in line. I already installed a new digital battery capacity monitor in the dash, so I think I'll just disconnect the battery dash light. I can always bypass the OBC is things get quirky. Thanks everyone.
