Sounds like you need to revisit your pick up tube repair or fuel lines? Check that your tank is venting properly by leaving the cap loose a bit.
Remove the pulse line from the pump and spin it and feel for pulse in the end of the line?

I re-pulled the pick up tube- no leaks. I pulled pulse line off pump and yes its pumping. Hooked pulse line back up, disconnected hose from pump to carb- nothing pumping out! So a bad pump?

sounds like it, I've had fuel pumps sit for a while and I guess get dry inside and not pick up fuel.
I've blown a bit of air in the tank and forced some fuel through the system to get it "primed" and wet.
That might get it started and work, if it still drops off time for a new pump.
Any of the pulse pumps from briggs or lawn and garden engines will work, doesn't have to be the pricey OEM.

Ok up and running again. Put on new fuel pump, primed it and cart started. i took off and it started acting like it was choking, so i pulled the hose off the air cleaner and ran fine. I pulled the box and found that 3 of the 6 air ports were clogged with mud dobbers. Cleaned out the ports and just rode around for a half hour with no issues. Such a simple machine yet so much can go wrong. Hope it runs through deer season for me. HAHA.
Thanks for the advise!
