Ebay Alltrax PDS Controller
I can get this controller for $279.00 if I buy it today, but it is used and only has a 90 day warranty. Is it too big of a chance to take ?
http://cgi.ebay.com/Used-Alltrax-DCX...3286.m20.l1116 I think new one's run $430 to $450 and as we all know they carry a 2 year warranty. Hit me with your opinions. |

Re: Ebay Alltrax PDS Controller
90 days should be long enough to find out whether its good or not. You sure that DCX is what you want?
Its says a different price though. http://cgi.ebay.com/Used-Alltrax-DCX...QQcmdZViewItem |

I know very little about these things, only owned a cart for 6 weeks ! I was just going off of the 400 Amp PDS because I have been told that is what I need from folks here. What do you suggest for my lifted PDS ? I have a 10% discount coupon from Ebay that must be used today, that will take it from $310 to $279 according to Ebay when I sign in. |

Re: Ebay Alltrax PDS Controller
I would jump on it. You need AT LEAST 400 amps. Its a well known seller to.
Hurry! I think someone just bid! LOL! http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...QQcmdZViewItem |

Re: Ebay Alltrax PDS Controller
Will I need anything else to make it work ?
Or is it basically just a "plug and play" component that works with the stock solenoid and motor ? |

I am not 100% positive BUT it shouldn't be very hard. The worst thing should be mounting the controller...the next will be making connections. It will work fine with the other components on 36 volts. If you want more power your going to have to start upgrading everything else. Keep in mind when you upgrade the voltage you will need to get a 48 volt solenoid. I say "when" because you will want more eventually. You will also get more speed on 36 volts. (with a PDS). You won't have very much regen if any at all with the alltrax. |
