fitting 16hp vanguard in G1
Just picked up a 16hp vanguard for my G1 today. I am really excited to get started on this project. I am still in the process of looking for a clutch for the motor. Unless I can find a comet 94C for cheap I will have to shell out the 325 for the series 06 from cartpartsplus. Just looking at the motor and taking some initial measurements it is clear the motor is not going to fit under the seat with out some modifications. I have not had a chance to look in to this and I am hoping just some spacers will fix the issue. Just wondering what have other people done to fit the motor? thanks

Re: fitting 16hp vanguard in G1
you could lower the swing arm if you have a lift to lower the front of the swing arm.
