Question Basic Power Kit for G1

A vendor is selling a basic power kit for all Yamaha gas models. It consists of a power spring and an input shaft spacer. Has anyone installed one of these? Is it a hassle?

Thanks:

One of the best inexpensive upgrades you can do. Check out the sticky thread at the top.

Do I need to replace the spring or just add the shaft spacer?

No, it's Cart Parts Plus. Best and least expensive mod on any Yamaha.

Since Rewireman asked...Do you think all members will like the torque spring? The spacer has saved people hundreds of dollars when the input shaft grove and circlip slide against the tranny case, taking the secondary out of "preload". I was just woundering if everyone needs the torque or would changing the settings on the spring (b-4 or b-3) suit there needs? Sorry not trying to hijack this thread. Later Dave
