Weak spark is 99% of the time a bad coil but could indicate bad engine ground as well

Can you get it running to check you starter/generator output ? Should be 14.5 volts
I just have a hard time believing two coils are doing the same exact thing but like I said earlier it could be. Let us know about the S/G output ?
I will give you a tip on where to find a coil that will work that is not an EZGO. I have one installed on my wife workhorse with the pre-mci engine and it works perfect. Much cheaper than the OEM that you can't find.
It came off a Sea-Doo
SKI DOO ZX CHASSIS 1999-02 500/600/700/800 IGNITION COIL #129700-4380 is the one I used last year. Try ebay and you will see they are out there. Made by Denso which is a top of the line company

Here is the one I installed on my workhorse last year

Yes, I did check starter/generator output @ 14.5 volts. I will be looking into one of the Ski-doo coils. Thanks Guys

I will keep you guys posted. I did find a used hopefully good OEM coil. I will ohm both coils out after removing the existing coil and before I install the one I ordered.

GOOD NEWS!! After jacking around for six + weeks. It was $130 new aftermarket coil bought from the dealer that was no good. I bought a used OEM for $45 and Bingo! In the process I also bought a aftermarket igniter box that proved to be junk also.
One thing forsure it was a good learning experience.
Thanks Everyone for your imput!!
