2011 EZGO RXV front wheel bearing nut
I have a 2011 EZGO RXV and I just changed front wheel bearings. My concern is the nut is a hex nut and not a castle nut with cotter key. Is this nut capable of working its way off causing the wheel to come off. The nut when I removed it appearing snug however when I replaced it and backed it off to free the hub assembly it appears loose. Any thoughts or recommendation's would be appreciated.

It should be a lock nut.

It is a lock nut. I used the terminology, hex nut, from EZGO parts manual.

If it is a lock nut then you are good to go as long as it isn’t worn out.
