Default Dumb question about tires and speed

I'm turning an old cart into a trailer. The easiest way to deliver would be to hitch it to my truck and tow it about ten miles away. Do you think normal golf cart tires could or would survive 60 mph for ten miles?

IMHO it would be cheaper to rent a trailer or hire a rollback than pay for potentially bad things that may happen.

Most golf cart tires have a speed rating identified by a letter and I'm sure they're not speed rated for 60mph. Take a back road or tow it at an off time like 5am Sunday morning. Or like SBIRD said, rent a trailer.

Absolutely no. Do not tow a golf cart 50-60 mphs. Awful things may happen

Ok, thanks guys. One option i have is a set of wheels from a Ford Aspire, the wheel pattern is 4 by 100, so it is close, but the backspace is a little to much. Im sure I can make it work though.
