Default 2019 RXV Elite bad solenoid

my cart was doing weird stuff like shutting down and turning right back on.
Dealer says "bad solenoid". Just wondering if this is common? Also if there's a aftermarket HD switch I should buy?

I've had one bad solenoid in eight years on a 2011 RXV. I've seen several other people have bad solenoids. These were on lead acid carts but I don't think that would make any difference.

Make sure the accelerator and brake pedals don't have trash keeping them from returning all the way up. Mine did some strange chattering and jumping when some trash fell into the accelerator pedal.

I bought a aftermarket trombette ( spelling?)off epay, saved $25. Replaced it after 4 months with one from ezgo after it went bad.

That could be the cause.
Thanks for the heads up.

The dealer installed an OEM solenoid $30 part.
They tell me it's just "wear and tear" over 9k miles.
I'm going to start searching for a higher quality switch.
Maybe D&D or Flight Systems?

A $30 part for 9K miles isn't bad. Avoid the Chinese copies! They are crap.

Agree 100% The RXV is a complicated and expensive cart to trust to the cheap China knockoff parts.

Fast forward 2 years and it's doing the same thing.
What I would like is a true HD Solenoid for this cart.
the dealer sells oem only

there are some $100 48v solenoids on Amazon.

thoughts?

ps the dealer says I'm their only customer to have this issue
