Thanks. I sold it last year. Couldn't stand having two racecars. :) Well, ok, my checking account couldn't stand it...

It was a fun car. I owned it 19 years. It was time for it to move on to someone else's garage.

The Nova II's are one of my favorites. Buddy of mine in school had one with a built 327. It was SWEET! Great cars and a lot lighter than others in that year area. I used to have a 71 Chevelle with a 63 model 327 small journal steel crank, 350 fuel heads, 750 Holly double pumper, 373 posi with ladder bars, and 3500 stall converter. Broke 2 drive shafts (one cut down from a one ton truck) and almost wrecked it everytime it shifted to 2nd. Finally pulled the stall and drove it back and forth to school in a more normal mode. My brother had a built 73 Challenger. We kept our parents going insane when we were teens.

The stall converter is what caused me so much grief. It wouldn't shift until it hit over 3000 and then it would just about throw in the ditch. Not something you want driving down the road unless a Trans Am with a 400 small block pulls up next to you.
