I am in South Florida and kept insurance on my LSV cart for a few years before I let the registration lapse. I believe it was with SafeCo. I was paying about $100/month, which is the same as my car policy cost. The required insurance is basically car insurance, so it's expensive. In Florida for an LSV you can't use the really cheap policy that lets you run around on a campground or neighborhood.
