Default 2007 ezgo

I have an 2007 electric golf cart with a lift kit and tires and was wondering if there is anyway to make it go faster I am only going around 11-12 mph flat surface.

What is it, a series cart, a PDS cart, is it a TXT or a ST?

Where do you shift it at on the dash or by your leg?
That will tell us if its a PDS cart or a Series cart. What you need to make it go faster will depend on that question.

What is the end goal for the use of this cart will also dictate what you need as far as parts. Do you use it for camping? Maybe just running the neighborhood streets? Is it going to be a hunting buggy? Do you plan to lift it and add bigger tires? Does it have a rear seat or lift bed? I could go on and on as all this has effect on the end result.

OK so you have a 2007 EZ-Go TXT Series Cart.

In general That is the best cart for Off-road use.
You can start by getting the basics and building on that. Get a good set of 2-4 gauge cables. I would get the set that Scotty B sells in the 2 gauge.

Next would be to upgrade your Controller, Solenoid, Resistor and Diode. Also look into a heavy Duty F&R switch. Then you can add a new motor or a rebuilt Plum Quick motor.

With those upgrades you can run larger tires and have the power and torque to drive them.

It is going to be used for camping and everyday use around the neighborhood not for hunting. It is lifted and has 22x11x8 tires on it and has a fold down rear seat. I just want it to go faster than its going know my neighborhood has some hills in it and I would like it to get up them faster than now. I am a new owner and only know a little about golf carts and was just wondering if there was something out there for my cart thats not to expensive to get a little more MPH out of it.
