Default Lestronic 2 charger??

Does anyone use this particular charger? If so can you tell me a brief theory of operation for it? I have a CC charger and without AC plugged in I plug in DC and hear the relay click. I was testing this Lestronic2 charger and plugged in DC and waited and waited but no relay click. After going through it and finding nothing wrong I decided to leave DC plugged in and then plug AC in. When I did this, the relay clicked about 3 seconds thereafter and started to charge. Does this sound like proper operation? thanks.

Mine that says CC on it is made by Lestronic as well. They are just behaving differently.

Lester makes hundreds of different chargers & testing machines.
Sounds like both of yours are working, just differently?

I always monitor 'new to me' chargers the first time they run. I like to run them while I'm close by or in and out to check pack voltage if the cart does not have a digital meter. Not all chargers perform equally.
