Default 03 Club Car IQ 48v Charger Question

I just picked up an 03 Club Car DS IQ. It did not come with a charger. I have a 48v PowerDrive charger that I use on a 93 and 95 club cars. Will this work on the 03 IQ? I am giving the PowerDrive charger and 95 cart to my dad and I need a new charger. Has anyone used the Schauer 48v 15A chargers? How do they rank against the powerdrives?

15 amps is minimal output charger. Also note that the CC has an OBC to run the powerdrive chargers. It may be okay with a regular charger, I'm not sure.

with a standard charger you need to bypass the obc..

I've never used any other charge than club car(lester) , but i've seen a lot of disappointed people who have.

So is the Powerdrive the preferred charger? Since the cart can control it.

Thanks.

David,

I have a 48v power Drive 3 charger for sale, it has never been used, so if you are interested let me know. I bought it for my cart 98 CC series cart, but it requires an OBC which my cart does not have, it was a costly mistake on my part.

I am looking to get around $300 for it. It does have a dent in the case from shipping, but it is in great working order.
