48v CC dead,everythings dead
Hi ,1st time for me,and i sure could use some help. 2001 cc 48V regen,I have owned it about 18 months and everything has been great, untill i notice batt. cables were pretty bad. I bought new and replaced them, from that point on nothing happens,no light, no sounds,no nothing.I checked each battery with load meter-OK, checked voltage across -48V, the fuses-OK, all connection cleaned & tight, the key switch has continuity. The charger does nothing, could the OBC cause this problem- can it be checked or bypassed? I'm stumped

Welcome to the forum rdfins....................
Yes, the OBC has to be used and the one wire has to run through the hole. I assume the Run/Tow switch is back in Run........... |

yes,i check the continuity on run/tow switch -ok ,the cable that goes thur the OBC was not replaced,i wasn't sure that it came out, i also pulled pretty good on the wire from the reciptial and it seemed tight.its so dead it seems like something simple must be wrong.

Did you put the cart into 'tow' mode before you started replacing cables?

Does the reverse Buzzer sound off when it's in reverse?
Do you hear the solenoid click when you press the accelerator? |

Re: 48v CC dead,everythings dead
I would go back through the battery cables, pull and tugg on them and make sure the cart wiring makes a circuit from Positive on the first battery all the way through to the 6th battery where the ground is connected.
If you find any loose cable connections by tugging and pulling on them, Tighten it. It just takes one bad connection to cause the same symptoms you have explained. I believe you will find a bad connection causing the "dead" symptom. Also get a volt meter and measure the posititive of the #1 battery to the neg post of the #6 battery. You will also find the connected cables going to the carts devices from these points too. Tell us what your total Battery Pack Voltage is. |

Yep, that's what keep thinking, but i have done it about three times now,and they just don't get any cleaner or tighter.the voltage across the battery pack is 48 Volts read Thur my meter,i know it a little low but still something happen.

Re: 48v CC dead,everythings dead
Check out the wiring diagram in the stickies, the 3rd one down and follow out your 48 volts from the key switch to the mcor to the micro switch on the F/N/R and so on.
