Default Fuel problem???

Hey guys I'm looking for a quick fix. I'm out camping with my g2 and its getting to much fuel now. Pouring into the air box. Spits and fires then dies? Any suggestions?

Default Re: Fuel problem???

Hello fellow Illinoisan. Float is probably stuck from sitting. Try tapping on the side of the float bowl (not too hard!) to un-stick it. Best to take the float bowl off and clean the pivot point, or at least move it up and down. Check the oil level. If it's that flooded, the level may be high because of gas contaminating the oil-smell the dipstick. If it smells like gas, don't start it until you change the oil or you'll ruin the motor. Make sure and always put Sta-Bil in the gas before you put it to bed for the winter-these new Ethanol additives suck and cause gas to go bad quickly.

If that doesn't work, get a bunch of candy bars and bribe the kids in the campground to push you around!
