Re: 5" lift from Carts Parts Plus
Cart Parts Plus sells great stuff, but I would highly recommend a Jakes lift. Yes, they cost more. But you'll never have to worry about it.

This lift is ok. It really depends on what you are going to use the cart for. If
you were going to be hard off roading, I would go with a Jakes. |

Re: 5" lift from Carts Parts Plus
Just a note;
If you decide to go with a more expensive lift Take a look at the allsports lift. Its at least twice as stable as a jakes and not much higher on price. They also have a buy back policy. You don't like it they will buy it back!!!!!!!!! We don't sell a big block cart with anything else and have used 100s of lifts made by several different companies. If you want to save cash buy cheaper tires or painted wheels. Here's a link. Yamaha lift kit 7" Double A Arm G-2 & G-9 |

Thanks Tom, I was noticing that Golf Cart Giant sells that same lift for $299.95, can you guys match that price? Thanks again for the great advice!

Re: 5" lift from Carts Parts Plus
read my review of that lift on this site and on buggies unlimited first. The kit is not very strong. if you want strength go the long travel kit
Tom - if I had known they had a buyback policy I would have shipped it back to them the first week I had it Last edited by shawn.m; 08-31-2007 at 02:27 PM.. |

Re: 5" lift from Carts Parts Plus
if your talking the allsports lift - maybe- the allsports lift dosent change camber as it cylces up because of the dual A-Arm design. As long as your bushings are good it will be good.
the Jakes single arm will change drastically in camber as it cycles up from a bump. however, strength wise the jakes if probably stronger. |
