ezgo hot battery
Why did my #5 battery get so hot that it melted the battery terminal.
The battery is still charged and has ample water. ezgo txt 1999 Energizer battery EGC2 replaced all 6 on 3/2010 No extras on cart just standard factory cart. |

it was a loose cable, or bad cable, or the cables needed to be cleaned, how bad is the battery?? do you have any pics of the melted battery terminal |

Sorry having trouble getting pic off phone.
The stud is loose in terminal. Looks like the 5/16 drill and tap method. Does that sound right? |

Yes thats the way to save the battery, did you see this thread.
You need to make sure all your cables are good, and all the terminals are clean, or this will happen again, need to tighten all cables once a month  http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/batte...nal-repair.php |
