1" shaft to 1 1/8 shaft spacer
does any one have or ever seen or used one??... i have a 1180 clutch i want to try on a 1" shaft V-twin.. im wanting to see if there is a top in MPH difference... any info would be great thanks

wicked I know of a bushing that you could use but you would have to do some machining on the od. of it, I can get you the website if you want to take a look

Just what i was thinking. Machine a bushing and use a taller keyway. Would that work?

Make a sleeve 1 1/8 OD with a 1/16 wall, slot it for the key then make new key to fit.

thats what i was thinking cause the key for the 1 1/8 clutch is 1/4 square

I did just this for the 1190 I put on my 25hp Robin in the "Scottyb's Workhorse" Build Thread. It was a 1 7/16 clutch on a 1 1/8 shaft ..... It was simple enough with the right machining. It has held up great.

thanks guys we are going to make one today and Tom has them to so we ordered some from him..
that 38HP motor is wanting the bigger clutch 1180 right now with the CV tech 6000 rpm 43 44 mph we want more |
