1983 2 Stroke Questions
Hello guys, new guy here. I recently received a 1983 EZGO 2 stoke from my grandpa. It had been sitting for a while, but I got it running. For the first day or so it was flying around running great, but now it will barely move. My grandpa said something about it had a rubber needle valve and that it would swell up with gas, thus giving the cart less power. Has anyone ever heard of this?
Also, how should I adjust the mixture screw on the carb? Please bare with me im a newb when it comes to golf carts. Thanks in advance. |

Re: 1983 2 Stroke Questions
No rubber needle valve, but there is a jet on the bottom of the bowl on the carb. pull the carb off and clean it REAL good. run a piece of wire thru the hole in the jet to make sure theres no dirt in it.
then change your gas if its old and put on a new gas filter. good luck, Dew |
