Default Calibrate rxv stock State of Charge

Is there any way to calibrate the stock led acid rxv State of Charge meter to work with lithium conversion.

I'm not sure what you have, but lithium batteries need a shunt to allow full amperage to be read by the coulomb counting meter. If you have an SOC meter that calibrates based on pack voltage, it will not work.

This is a very good meter, but there are other types for less than $50.00. Just make sure what ever you get has a shunt that will be connected to the battery positive terminal.

So maybe the better question would be.
Does the stock EZGO RXV state of charge work off of a shunt and can the calibration be changed through the controller?

I would say "No" and likely could be wrong. There are many different "state of charge" meters ranging from bar graph to volt meters.

But unless it has a shunt at the negative battery post that allows the meter to sense full current flow, it cannot be accurate.

Does your pack negative have a shunt connection on it? I believe some do it electronically but I am not at all familiar with them.

Additional: Just looked at replacement RXV meters to see what you have. This is only a voltmeter that monitors FLA packs voltage to determine remaining life. For sure this will not work with lithium batteries.
