Rxv lithium upgrade help please
Long time lurker first time poster.
I’m upgrading my 2010 ezgo rxv to lithium. The battery is a drop in replacement for the ezgo and the only issue I am having is getting the charging loom to reach the positive terminal on the battery. The local dealer has done a few and has used a single power distribution post connect to the tray and all positive wires connected to that. My local electronics store sells these post but it’s only rated at max operating voltage of 48VDC. Now I know your all aware the battery will be running at around 52VDC and the charger will be at 58VDC. What would be the outcome of using the 48V post? Or would it be fine to use. https://www.jaycar.com.au/single-m10...-post/p/SZ2090 This is the post I’m looking at, obviously don’t want to install it if it’s going to cause any issues. Any advice is welcome on the best way to go about this. Thank you |

Re: Rxv lithium upgrade help please
48v is the nominal voltage for that post. It will be fine with 58v on it.
