Thumbs up Re: What to look for when buying parts for a LEAF LI conversion?

well ... I figured out why it wasn't engaging the coil for the contactor.
since I didn't have a charge port on here, the controller was seeing that the charger was plugged in. I had never done anything with the Charger Interlock. ran a wire from pin 5 to the B+ and then everything is working as it should.

Now it's time to start cleaning up all my wires and get my pot box mounted (switching out the original linear actuator that the Columbia ParCar uses to a PB6). then start cleaning up the rest of the cart and work on the body work while I start to collect stuff for my Li changeover.

Glad you are making progress. Looking forward to seeing your setup. Have you decided on a BMS?

Not as of yet, just starting to look into these things.
Probably going to go with the Zeva. seems like more people have them and have had a lot of success with them and plenty of people with knowledge on here for support if/when needed.

Also thinking about going with the Gen 2 LEAF modules. As long as I can get them at a reasonable price.

Happy carting!
