Re: Kubota D782 swap
You are correct, I removed the fan from the from the diesel in lieu of an electric fan to cool the radiator.
fuel filter/ water separator, yes I am almost positive. I wanted to re-use the stock fuel tank, but it's quite large and not shaped to fit in as small a space as I am needing. The electric fuel lift pump, to be honest, I am not sure on this one, but I will check it out and get back to you. All of this is good info since I am new to diesels. |

izzybird is this what you are referring to?
Fuel filter pictured (not sure about the water separator): Fuel-Filter.jpg Fuel Pump: Fuel-Pump.jpg Any recommendations on what type of fuel cell to use for this application? Any specific things I need, connections etc. |

Re: Kubota D782 swap
izzybird,
Actual pictures of the tank, fuel line/filters. There are what appears to be three inline filters, unless one of them is the water separator. IMG-1128.jpg IMG-1129.jpg |

Re: Kubota D782 swap
Thinking the one with the wires coming out of it is your fuel pump.

Re: Kubota D782 swap
The Kubota on my compressor just uses the feed pump like the one you pictured. It lifts the fuel over 2 feet from a tank below no probs.

Re: Kubota D782 swap
You’re good. The one with wires going to it is a electric pump and number five on the diagram is a mechanical lift pump. Mine doesn’t have a mechanical lift. I would seriously look in to a spin on filter/separator set up, those little inline filters are better than nothing..but. The bad thing is they’re generally pretty bulky and you’re already space limited.

Re: Kubota D782 swap
Something like this. Doesn’t need to be that big, that one was something I already had laying around.

Re: Kubota D782 swap
ok cool, looks like I need to get an inline separator. I might actually have one lying around as well. I need to look around see what I come up with.
Thanks for the input y'all |
