Differences in DA relative to the cart's aerodynamic drag are likely too small to be measured without employing lasers or sophisticated radar and it definitely wont matter while using public accessed GPS.
My 475rwhp 2004 GTO runs significanlty better in low DA than high DA. So the increased drag of a low DA is easily overcome by the significant gain in HP. Electric carts do not have ICE so a low DA would actually be counter productive and generate more aerodynamic drag for an electric. Also since lower DAs tend to be associated with lower temperatures (but not always) you will likely be down on battery amperage available as the chemical reaction will be going slower as well. So basically a low DA should make an electric run ever so slightly slower but you wont be able to tell a difference. T hat was the point i was trying to make...lol. |
