Default Starter generator belt getting tore up by the secondary....why?

I got a smaller belt because the belt I had was too long and let the SG lay too far back allowing the secondary to chatter on the pulley bolt. So I got a shorter belt and it eliminated that but it looks like it (or something) is tearing up the edge of the belt still....any ideas?

It's somewhat normal to have belts confirm themselves to the cart. So long as the belt isn't completely coming apart you are good.

As motor mounts wear the clutches get out of alignment just a bit. If things get crazy, ie. you are shredding belts or you clutches are touching, the motor mounts will need replaced and possibly shimmed.
