Bending u Bolts on take off!
This happened with my lift blocks on top of the axle. When I first put my High torque motor in my CC the first thing that happened was I broke the stock leaf springs. After that I bent the single u bolts that hold the rear end onto the leaf springs. I upgraded to 3 leaf boat trailer leafs and used the double ubolts that came with the new leaf springs. 2 ubolts for each side. Even after I added the doulbe ubolts to each side. The blocks that go on top of the axles and under the leaf springs were sliping forward under power and the motor was contacting the frame. I had to weld the lift blocks to the top of the axle to stop that. Did anyone else have the same problems with there lift and high torque motor install? If you did How did you fix it.

If you look at the center you see an anchor bolt through the spring, that button should fit into a hole in the block and keep it from sliding. |

No, No the thats what the thread is about. How I fixed it. I dont have that problem any more. I like the ramp up fast so it will pull a lil wheelie when I take off. Here are some pics of it.
