Default Type of engine?

Sorry, a real newb question. I bought a used gas ezgo last year and havent a cluse as to what type (make) of engine and what size. Can someone please tell me how (where) to look for engine information? I have dug around under the seat and havent a clue. Thank you.

Post some pics of your cart. It's impossible to say give the fact you have provided no information other than you got it last year and it has a seat. most of these carts have robin engines in them.
This thread show where to locate the id plate, ect.

Thank you! Those links are very helpful. I'll have a look this evening to see if I can ID exactly what I have now. For the record, here are a couple pics, although Im not sure they will provide much help. Thanks again.

Thank you for the kind words. It is a lot of fun to drive thats for sure. I am looking into removing the governor though, we need a bit more speed out of this guy!

Its a bit frustrating when the neighborhood kids blow me away on their big wheels.

It's a medalist, precursor to the txt. They started production in 94.5 and sales to the general public stopped at the end of 95 when they changed to a plastic body and rename them txts. You could still get them special order till 98-99 I think it was. They came with a eh295 twin cylinder Subaru/Robin 4 stroke engine. looks like yours was a off lease from a course so it may be a later year one.
