Re: Trojan or Rolls/Surrette Battery
Quote:
True enough. The rolls might be a good battery but it can't be too good because most have never heard of them let alone anyone running them in their golf cars. They are mainly used for "off the grid" systems. They have their place. The rolls cost twice what a Trojan costs. Hmmmm, Lemme do the math here.....carry the 8, put it under the 2......$200 for a 7 year rolls. $120 for a 5 year trojan. Looks like I can get about 2 - 3 so more years buying 2 trojans for about $40 more than what it costs for 1 Rolls surrette. Oh yea...lemme throw some shipping charges in for the Rolls because NOT HARDLY ANYONE carries them. Google search yeilded the $200 PER Rolls Surrette battery. Now get ready...............................$154.10 shipping for 1 Battery. (yes ONE battery!) Now why in the heck would I do that when I can go to the local trojan battery guy and for the same price I can get about 15 years worth of juice with a trojan! |
