Default 97 Txt Dcs Build

Hey guys I have never posted here but got a lot of help from previous post. I decided to Redo my cart before the camping season starts in April. I striped body which is being painted now. ordered HD Springs Already had 6 inch lift. Turning into a total project. I do have a ? about Batter meters is there any difference with one from ezgo or if I use any 36 volt meter will it work as good?

If you are referring to a LED bar-graph battery meter, they are all pretty much the same.
Most are not worth the powder to blow them to Hell and some are worse.

Do yourself and your batteries a favor and get a DVM type battery meter.

The voltage on the attached chart are "At-Rest" voltages, meaning they are taken about 12 hours after the charger turns off automatically, or about 30 Minutes after the cart has stopped moving after a trip.

The "Under-load" voltage should stay above 31.5V during routine driving condition and should never be taken below 27.0V under any driving conditions.

The pack voltage while driving, depends how many amps are being drawn from the pack. The more amps drawn, the lower the voltage.

I dont hate the "10 led" meters as much as some here. The real curtis one is the only one in my opinion. It still has two serious drawbacks, 1- it only works with batteries in good health, 2 - it has about a 6 minute delay in its reaction, so if it says "full" with junk batteries, it will let you get 6 minutes away from home before it tells you the batteries are dead, then you are stuck as far away from home as you got in the last 6 minutes. So, dont trust it unless you have "known" batteries. A "led volt meter" will serve you better (except for the folks who cant understand that kind of info, they are who that "10 led bar" meter was made for).

If that isn't enough to make you want a different meter maybe pushing the cart home will change your mind
