Default G29 Gradually Losing Power Up Hill Over Time

2016 Yamaha g29 having issues where it almost comes to a near dead stop going up hills. It didnt do this before or for a while after the lithium conversion but is doing it more and more now.

Stock Moric controller, stock hitachi motor
6" lift and 23x10-14 Tires
Lithium conversion using Dakota Lithium 12V x 4 60 Ah DL+ batteries
Roykaw Golf Cart Voltage Reducer Regulator
Renogy 500A Battery Monitor with Shunt

I have replaced the motor speed sensor and solenoid with no improvement or change in behavior.

Since I have the battery monitor I can see real time current draw and it has always gone up to a max of 140amps when under heavy load, which it is still doing but the cart is loosing power to the wheels

Does this sound like a motor going bad? needing new brushes?

Does this sounds like a controller issue?

I have kind of just preemptively changed the inexpensive things but not sure how to trouble shoot if it is the controller or motor that needs service or replacement.

Thank you.
