Default Which cable(s) to disconnect for winterizing?

Getting ready to shut down a Yamaha 2016 Drive 48 Volt Drive cart for the season. It will be stored outdoors in S. Jersey, and I read that disconnecting the battery will help maintain battery life. Please advise which cable(s) to disconnect - the main Positive, the main Negative, or both? Also watched a Youtube video showing a winterizing procedure of only disconnecting a cable linking the negative posts of 2 adjacent batteries. Would this accomplish the same effect as disconnecting a main cable? Thank you in advance!
