I say it is harder to access the Sensor from under the floor mat. I drop the pedal group from under the car, I find it easier. Dash not lighting up is another issue |

Re: 2007 Tomberlin acceleration problems
Yes. If you could scan the issue, most of the time you would see that the cart thinks it is at 100 percent throttle. The system doesn't want to see this and wont operate. You can try and reset the system by just unplugging the Hall effect sensor, turn the run/tow switch and key switch off. ( rememeber that cart has two switches on the box, one is run/tow, the other is for programing) The wire comes from the pedal box to the driver side of the cart. Try to disconnect it, wait a couple of minutes, then reconnect. This may or may not reset the system |

Re: 2007 Tomberlin acceleration problems
Back in the day, I use to work for the largest timberlin distributor on the east coast. We had a rental fleet of about 30. They all had electrical gremlins all the time. What I replaced the most was full accelerator pedal assemblies and the Solonoid. They were a nightmare from the very beginning, especially when people would rent them and do God knows what to them.

Re: 2007 Tomberlin acceleration problems
Got in touch with service tech, they sent me a parts catalog, advised Me to check wiring harness, where hall effect sensor wires into wiring harness, weak spot, went in ,rewired/ fixed that area, fixed my problem,While I had Hall effect sensor off,I went ahead and replaced it,bolted it back together,no go,had to take apart again, and back on the phone (texted)with tech, had to switch two wires on sensor plug(China made it backwards), after couple minutes riding ,controller had to mate to new sensor, now o/k
