Default Curtis Controller replacement

I have a 1992 36 volt DS. The Curtis 1205-13 24-36 volt 400 amp 4 blade controller is bad. Is there a less expensive but reliable replacement? This is a cart We are charity building for an 82 year old man who lost his license. He doesn’t need more performance.

I can't offer much help with Curtis controllers but I'm sure someone here can.

Your controller model number is 1205-113. I'm not sure if there is a compatible replacement or if it is better to rebuild that one.

Does anyone have a suggestion or a take-off controller that will work?
