Default Yamahauler secondary options

So I picked up 2 yamahaulers for $500 for the pair they are missing the motor but the body’s are in nice shape. I’m building one with a modified 16hp vanguard with rev kit and cheetah cam should scoot pretty good but my question here is I need 2 secondary clutches and curious what u guys recommend I should buy ?

Default Re: Yamahauler secondary options

My G16, with a 23hp Vanguard, CVtech primary and stock OEM secondary worked just fine. The Yamahauler rear has a lower ratio, which may affect top end, and the secondary spring is longer/stiffer than the regular spring.

I'd go with an OEM secondary and the regular shorter spring.

Umax/Yamahauler spring on top, new regular spring in the middle, and 10yr old spring on the bottom. They compress with age...

You could also try Plowman's.

If you tell Don that it's for a big block build, he'll probably tell you he doesn't have what you want...
