Default G14 no spark

Hello,

I’m looking for help with a G14 gas cart.

I can’t get spark to the plug.

I’ve replaced the igniter and coil.

I’ve checked resistance of the pickup on the flywheel and it’s at 334 ohms.

I’m getting 12v to the coil at both terminals.

I would expect the orange lead to the coil to flash but it doesn’t.

Flywheel pickup isn’t adjustable so I can’t move it closer to the flywheel but it does generate current to the igniter.

All grounds are good.

I haven’t checked the voltage regulator, but I wouldn’t think it was affecting ignition as long as the ignition system was getting 12v, ground and proper signal from flywheel.

I’ve checked everything I can but still no spark.

Also, if I brush signal terminal on the coil with 12v from battery, it will spark.

The igniters I ordered were from Amazon and they didn’t come with wiring information.

One was a 5 pin with r/w, b, o, b/r & b/w. These color schemes generally match the factory except pulser wires are w/r & w/b, which I assumed connect to the b/r & b/w on the new igniter.

The other is a 7 pin said for earlier 2stroke and it has the color scheme as the 5 pin plus a green & brown, which matches the factory wiring.

I can’t get either to create spark.

Any advice is welcome..

Resistances below all check out.
