Inverter blown?
Charging my 14 CC 48volt, lithium via 110 plug on Rv which was powered by my generator. Wife had the water heater on, micorwave, ac of course in addition to golf cart charger, so surprise breaker tripped on generator. Unplugged cart and charged normally once back home. Now none of my accessories work wich are run through the inverter. Golf cart runs/charges just fine but no accessories. Checked all fuses nothing blown, uplugged saddle from inverter to fuse block and got the initial "pop" as your supposed to but no lights, blinker, horn?

Re: Inverter blown?
Check for 12 volts coming out of your inverter.

Re: Inverter blown?
Just uplugged fuse, turn key on and fuse block did not indicate missing or blown fuse (little red light). The inverter is shot, not sure how to check continuity through inverter? Do I put on tester on positive from busbar to inverter and then to neg. on fuse block?

Re: Inverter blown?
Getting nothing pos. feed to fuse block and wt. on fuseblock. 30amp inverter supposedly a decent one? Inverter is hooked up to key switch on cart and it was off during charging, could that trip of still reached inverter?

If you have 48 volts going in with the key switch on, and nothing coming out, it is defective. |
