Default Amazon 36v Lifepo4 Battery Pack

I am looking into replacing my FLA battery pack with a Lithium pack. I have been looking at trying this 36V 100ah Battery from Amazon/E

https://www.amazon.com/phosphate-Rec...1976932&sr=8-3

https://www.ebay.com/itm/36V-100Ah-L...V/373635345721

Looks like this guy has had luck with the system,

Can someone please help me with how to tell if the the Peak discharge current would be enough for my cart. from what I can tell it is 200A for 2-5 seconds. it would be nice to save $700 or so but I don't want to waste 1,300 on this pack if it wont be worth it

Specifications:
1.Certificate: CE ROHS MSDS UN38.3
2.Upgrade Parts/Accessories: Grade A
3.Material: Lithium iron phosphate
4.Max continuous charge current: 0.5C
5.Max continuous discharge current: 1C
6.Peak discharge current: 2C in three to five seconds

8.Maximum protection voltage: 43.8V
9.End Voltage: 30V
10.Terminal: M8

The C rating is pathetic! I wouldn't go for it with that kind of rating.

Volt_Ampre can you please explain what you mean by that? are you talking about the Peak Discharge current?

Also thinking of doing a pack from Battery hookup.com

https://batteryhookup.com/products/l...0a0908fb&_ss=r

Does this seem like a good pack? I believe this is around 220AH and if so could someone please recommend a good BMS.
I have my kids with me a lot on the golf cart, is building my own pack safe?

Continuous and peak are about half of what I would consider reasonable. Saving $$ is nice but there is no free lunch with Lithium packs.

The "C Rating" is the relative discharge current rating per Amp Hour. So if you have a 1C battery and the battery is 100ah then the discharge current is 100 amps. If it's a 1C battery at 120ah then discharge current is 120 amps. The C rating should be higher than 1C, that's really low.

If you aren't familiar with lithium then please either A) spend a substantial amount of time researching or B) save up and buy an off-the-shelf kit. These batteries have serious power and can cause serious injury if not treated properly and with an abundance of caution.

Maybe I'm missing some part of the equation. is it just cause they used 1c in there description? just asking cause Roy pow 36v 105 ah battery pack has the same discharge ratings continues: 100A and Peak: 200A (10 sec) the only difference I see is that roy pow Peak is 10 sec rather than the 5 sec. is the roy pow not a very good pack?

1C discharge was the norm for LiFePO4 up until about a year ago. Most good LiFePo4 cells today will achieve 3C or even 5C discharge. I would suggest that that battery is using obsolete cells.

The ECO Battery 72Ah has 175A continuous discharge. Their 105Ah has the same 175A continuous discharge which tells me the limiting factor with ECO is the BMS, not the cells. The cells they're using will be of a high quality.
