Whoa - A simple Alltrax XCT400 control will net 22-23mph on 36v and stock tires.

I never knew you could use an XCT controller on a series system I thought they were used for Sepex systems like DCS, PDS and TXT48?

You are correct - I got caught hot reading the title. Ooops
This is a series cart so yeah stock was 10-12 mph. 15 mph is not bad for a battery upgrade in this cart. I would think a PQ motor would put him where he wants to be.

My final thoughts. I have to agree with those that suggested a new motor. However, I think I would put in a call to Navitas to make sure a Plum Quick motor would play well with your controller and do the same with calling Plum Quick and see what they say before I drop any coin. That controller is supposed to give you a good torque boost but do nothing for speed.

I added a new 48v solenoid and one more 12v battery. I balanced all batteries individually and now I'm hitting about 21-22. Definitely fast but I'm probably going to add the PQ motor to get over 30 mph. Speed is a sickness.....

Speed kills, don’t forget about a brake upgrade. Doesn’t matter how fast you can go, you still have to stop!
