Thanks for digging into this.
Yeah I'm going to have my High speed mode cranked up.
But then use the low speed mode for my kids and in the neighborhood.

That was exactly my plan. But I was also going to make a circuit so that it defaulted to low speed everytime you shut the cart off.

Ok figured out the Accel/Decel for both speed modes.

Low Speed Mode:
06.02.20 - Fwd Acc LSM - Forward Accel Low Speed Mode
06.02.21 - Fwd Dec LSM - Foward Decel Low Speed Mode
These are in seconds. Increase for slow accel/decel. Decrease to a shorter time for a faster accel/decel.

High Speed Mode:
06.02.05 - Fwd Acc Full LS
06.02.06 - Fwd Acc Partial
06.02.08 - Fwd Dec Full LS
06.02.09 - Fwd Dec Partial
Yeah I know these are labeled LS but that is totally wrong. They affect the high speed and no the low speed mode. The ones labeled HS do not affect either mode. Very odd.

But I've got both modes programmed pretty well for my liking now. A fast accel and decel is very sensitive on the throttle. So you will have to play around and find out what you like.

Josh,

High Speed Mode:
06.02.04 - Fwd Acc Full HS - Set the acceleration time when the full accelerator pedal is pressed and the speed is higher than the "High Speed" point
06.02.05 - Fwd Acc Full LS - Set the acceleration time when the full accelerator pedal is pressed and the speed is higher than the "Low Speed" point;
06.02.06 - Fwd Acc Partial - Set the acceleration time when part of the accelerator is pressed
06.02.07 - Fwd Dec Full HS - Set the deceleration time above the "High Speed" point after the accelerator pedal is released
06.02.08 - Fwd Dec Full LS - Set the deceleration time below the "Low Speed" point after the accelerator pedal is released
06.02.09 - Fwd Dec Partial - Set the deceleration time after partially releasing the pedal

Ok thanks for that clarification. That’s a pretty stupid way to set accel and decel. The Low speed mode is 2 parameters and so much more like an actual motor controller.

Have you found your ideal settings for these in order to achieve your desired acceleration? Curious to see what you went with here. Thanks!

No I have not. Have not had much time to play around with it much. The rest of the family drives it around in Low speed mode. So its a low priority.

Have you read through the manual for this controller? There are some additional explanations of the various parameters within it.

I have not seen a manual for the controller. Do you have one you can supply?
