I got the motor apart to look the brushes. They look new ( as I mentioned the motor from the service records listed it as newly rebuilt about a year before I purchased it. 1-2 of the brushed were sticky. I tool them out and used some skotch bright to clean and remove some high spots. they all move evenly not.
Is there a way to test the armature at this point before I reassemble? |

Not really to check the armature. How clean are the commutator bars?
Otherwise it's hard to tell what a rebuilder actually did with it, if it's the original armature or another has been sub'd in. Almost need both of your motors apart to compare everything side by side. |

It was really clean. The brush holder look new as did the brushes
