That is a great looking car Dave. Original it looks which I like. ? 235 ci? I love this car.
I am three years older than this car and worked on a few of these back in the 60's and 70's. So much easier than those we drive today.
My family were Ford people but I still liked the Chevy's.
No telling how many cars and trucks I have owned in my lifetime. My brother and I grew up working in our dads shop and we were always finding deals to fix up and sell.
I now own that shop and still work there everyday. Cool place to hang out in my old age

While still in the Air Force after returning from overseas I bought a new 1970 Road Runner . I was home on leave .

Why did I sell it ? Later that year I met girl close to the base I was stationed at and we ended up getting married. She tried her best to shift that three speed in the floor and just couldn't do it. I did keep it two years after we married but I sold it in 1972 . I still got my wife

Here it is the day I bought it in front of the shop I own today.

Thanks, Trig. I've had the car about 5yrs, and we're the same age. It's an older backyard restore from the early 2000's. It's a 216, and except for the split OEM manifold and dual exhaust, it's stock.

Ah , the split manifold. I had forgotten about those. We did a few in our shop.
The 216 was a classic for sure.
